This is What Happens When...

I try to do something above and beyond my normal day to day, like make a nice meal...

for another family besides my own and try to get it delivered before 6:00 p.m. with a toddler.
This is baking soda, luckily. I just took pictures of it while she played in it instead of cleaning it up right away. What could a little baking soda hurt?

And this is the house...

These are cotton balls

In the end the meal turned out and was delivered a little after 6:00.

Ham and cheese braids, veggies and home made ranch dip (pretty simple, I know)

It was also Matt and I's 4th anniversary. We went to the Brown Stone diner for breakfast and then Matt was gone for just under 12 hours to school. Did he come home to a clean house, a beautiful and capable wife, a clean toddler, and candle lit meal? No. He came home to the mess pictured above, a tired dirty toddler, and a haggered pregnant wife. The norm. Happy Anniversary Babe!

Love ya!

I never realized Carlee was capable of that much chaos :) Thought it was just my child.

wait until you see the destruction 2 toddlers can do to your house...:) It's impossible to watch them every second of the day. Makes me feel good to know I'm not the only one who can't keep up with all the demands of life at certain times. Those ham and cheese braids look super yummy! Please share the recipe!

Happy anniversary! You would think that your kid/kids would behave when you are doing service for someone else, but life is life and toddlers are trouble makers. Dinner looks good!
