My Baby Bump Apron

My talented friend Tamara made me this apron! Isn't it cute! Thanks Tamara!!! It comes in handy because that big thing sticks out and gets messy:)

Good Company

It would be very miserable for me right now if I was still working 8/9 hours a day on my feet so I am thankful I don't HAVE to be...but I do miss my co-workers/friends from Sweet Bliss. I recently had two of them, Sara (left) and Christena (right) over for a Sunday lunch. It was really fun! I made everything on Saturday: cheesy potato soup, home made bread, a salad, pink lemonade, and S'more brownies (they are both vegetarian). On Sunday Matt and I met up with them after church (they were invited to that too) at Journal Square and we walked to our abode and I just had to heat up the soup. It was very cool.

Today

Today I woke up late,
Julee didn't make me lunch,
I crashed on my scooter right in front of the school,
Didn't understand what was going on in lecture,
Had to do a group project with a worthless partner,
It took me 5 tries to get one good impression,
Missed class,
Went to a routine dental appointment and now need a root canal,
Julee accidentally locked me out of the apartment,
And now...
My tooth hurts.

Valentine/President's Day Weekend

We had a fun time!!! We went shopping and got Matt some slacks and dress shoes for school from Macy's. He shaved his beard off too. Combine new cloths that fit him nicely (not hand-me-downs or from a thrift shop) and a fresh shave and ooohlala, he is irresistible! He wanted a picture with the baby before he let the beard go though...




On Monday we went on a "nature walk" with our friends Tamara, Andrew and their adorable 3-month Oliver. We were looking to find something "outdoorsy" to do. We found Tourne Park. It was surprisingly peaceful for being just 30 minutes from Jersey City. It was a great little hike and we enjoyed a picnic in the brisk air on top and the leafs on our way down...just what we were looking for.

Update

So, it has been a long time since we have blogged...
Matt is never around anymore, school is working him pretty hard right now. He did have time to eat his all time favorite GERMAN CHOCOLATE CAKE for his 28th birthday though.


I am always home now and getting more and more pregnant. This is what I have been up to:
I am 31 weeks, have grown around my middle from 85.9 cm on January 8th to 90.4 cm as of February 9th, have gained 12 or so pounds, and am doing pretty good. The baby continues to grow (around 3 lbs now) and gets the hiccups every day.

coloring (it is fun for me and I'll use the pictures for the baby area)






















got a sweet new LG enV2 phone which is nice for texting (my only link to my husband)

and just got some cute maternity cloths from my sister Angie to keep me feeling cute and comfortable through the next 2 months...thanks Angie!!!
