Happy Mother's Day
Matt made me this totally awesome dinner after church today. He grilled tenderloin steaks on our little charcoal grill and served them with acorn squash filled with butter and brown sugar, cucumbers sliced and soaked in a vinegar, sugar onion mixture, corn on the cob, and vanilla ice cream with fresh chopped strawberries mixed in AND as a garnish on top! Wow. Seriously so good. And even better, we got the girls to bed early and ate in peace and quiet. He even set the table really nice. He did all this while I was resting upstairs. It was truly lovely. Thank you so much Matt. I felt loved on Mother's Day. Hope you all did too.
